  2. Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority; Australia: If the K12 High School Diploma is recognised as being equivalent by the appropriate education board in the US, then VCAA most certainly will recognise this qualification as being equivalent to the Victorian Certificate of Education.  However VTAC (Victorian Tertiary Admission Centre) require a completion of a S.A.T following completion of the High School Diploma for tertiary entrance in Victoria. Regards, Connie Todorovski; Student Records & Results Unit, Tel No:  (03) 9651 4346

Holders of the diploma will need to present SAT 1 and/or Advanced Placement (AP) results depending on the courses they are applying. Note that a number of institutions require a grade of 4 or 5 at an AP subject to be eligible to be considered for their courses.  For more information you will need to contact the admissions officers at our participating institutions.  Contacts details are available at http://www.uac.edu.au/undergraduate/institutions/.Regards,Rosario
  4. The South Australian Tertiary Admission Centre; SATAC: The US High School Diploma can be considered in conjunction with either the SAT, ACT or APT results. The Diploma on its own cannot be considered for direct entry into undergraduate programs at any of the South Australian universities. Regards, Matt
